Perseid Meteor shower: My lone Meteorite Capture

You may have heard of the meteor shower that goes by the name of Perseid. I know it is an annual event and that it is caused by the earth passing through the remnant trails of a comet named “Swift-Tuttle Comet”. That is all I know, and I even had to google to find the name of the comet. Anyways, here is a cut and paste of some more info on the phenomena: Continue reading

My 3 day 800 mile California SummerTime Road Trip…

Summer time is awesome in California.! That single sentence is pretty much
the only thing you need to hear for an accurate summary of what it’s like
in this state for the summer months. So what better way to get out and enjoy
the California summer climate than taking a road trip up the PCH( Pacific Coast Highway).

Hi all, This quick review is for an Led Flashlight I purchased a month ago. I never heard of this company or product until seeing a post on another page and I am glad I googled the name and found this light. I love gadgets, electronics in general, and just about anything with bright LEDs.

REVIEW: Smith Optics Elite Boogie Regulator Goggle

I purchased these as an alternative to wearing my rather expensive Maui Jim polarized sunglasses out on the mountain bike trails. The Maui’s work very nicely but during cold weather months my eyes tend to water up pretty bad during quick downhill sections of the trails. You know what I mean. Too much cold air sneaks around the sides of normal sunglasses and hits the eyes. So I decided to purchase some type of goggle to try out. I went on a number of web pages and searched for hours before deciding to order these.

I placed the order for these back in mid March. Continue reading

Will Rogers State Park Mountain Bike Trail

Essential Gear for Riding!

Hi all, I setup another google earth map for another mountain bike trail I ride frequently. This is a fun, fairly quick mountain bike trail to hit. Its close to the city (West Side/Santa Monica) so you don’t have to drive too far which makes this a great trail if you don’t have much time. Round trip ride time is about an hour on average for me so you may be able to do it quicker if you get out more than I. Below is a map with photos. This trail is about 4.8 miles total. The direction I travel on this trail goes like so. I ride into the park and up the service road then go right to go counter clockwise up Inspiration Loop Trail. Then take a right up rogers rd trail until you get up to the bridge, I usually turn around here, but the trail keeps going if you want to explore more. Once i get back to Inspiration Loop Trail, go right to continue making the loop back to the service road and go right to exit the park.
